Y.O.U. and the Jobs for Ohio Graduates (JOG) program offers seniors in the JOG program an opportunity to apply for the McDonald Hill Scholarship. This scholarship offers recipients $5,000 towards their tuition costs at the college or university they will be attending. This scholarship is aimed at empowering JOG seniors who are looking to further their education in the field of business.

We are proud to announce that the 2023 McDonald Hill Scholarship winners are Caloren Henderson, a student from Maple Heights Educational & Career Advancement Center. She will be attending Cleveland State University in the fall. Paris Gilmour, who attends Warrensville High School and is headed to the University of Detroit Mercy. And Shawnay Watts from Maple Heights High School who will be furthering her education at Kent State University.

As always, this year's applicant field was filled with many talented young adults. However, Caloren, Paris, and Shawnay stood out from their peers with their impactful essays about how JOG helped lead them to a path of wanting to further their education.
