Congratulations, Graduates! JOG Students Collect Diplomas

High school graduation is a significant milestone for any graduating senior but especially for those students who’ve worked particularly hard to overcome personal and educational barriers to claim their diplomas. At high schools in Cleveland, East Cleveland, Painesville, Maple Heights, and Euclid, Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) students are walking the stage and moving their graduation cap tassels from right to left.

Over 80% of these students will move on to higher education, a training and credentialing program, a full-time job, or a career in the military.

JOG is an in-school, classroom-based program with focus on career development, employability, life and leadership skills. JOG is part of Jobs for America’s Graduates, offering drop-out prevention programs in 32 states.  Follow-up services are provided to participants for a full year after graduation.

This year, over 100 JOG students are receiving their diplomas. Y.O.U. wishes the following graduating seniors much success and happiness as they commemorate this occasion and begin a new, personal chapter.
