Through a partnership with Cuyahoga County’s Department of Health and Human Services and retailer Staples, nearly 600 families who participated in Y.O.U.’s Summer Youth Employment Program received $225 vouchers to spend on back-to-school supplies and personal protective equipment at Staples. Families were able to purchase calculators, notebooks, study materials, pens, and even Chromebooks as well as personal protective equipment like face masks and hand sanitizer to keep young people safe at school.

Y.O.U. staff members distributed vouchers at several locations in the community, including Friendly Inn Settlement, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Fairhill Partners, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel - Cleveland.
