To kick off the New Year, the Arby’s Foundation generously gave Y.O.U. a $22,000 grant to “help generate careers for the youth of Cleveland.”

We’re grateful to have Arby’s as corporate and community partner. The restaurant has supported Y.O.U. in many ways and provided a number of youth with employment opportunities over the years.

Recently, we caught up with Arby’s Shift Managers Yazmine and Ebony, both 19. They have held their jobs for three and two-and-a-half years, respectively, and began their tenure with Arby’s as Y.O.U. Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) participants.

"It was actually the greatest thing that ever happened," Ebony said about getting placed there for a summer job.

Following the experience, Arby's hired them on as employees. The two feel like close friends, finishing each other's sentences, laughing with each other. They agreed being at Arby's is like being a part of a big family.
