Youth of the Nation: CLE

On September 16 WKYC's Margaret Bernstein moderated a panel discussion comprised of leaders from Y.O.U., Greater Cleveland Food Bank, The Karamu House, YWCA's A Place 4 Me and NEOMED. The event hosted by our young professional group Connect Y.O.U. was initiated from a conversation about Mayor Carl Stokes' five pillars of inclusivity: workforce development, food and nutrition, arts, shelter and homelessness and safety and health. Panelists from organizations focused on these pillars discussed ways to provide sustainable resources and support to Cleveland's youth. The room full of attendees walked away inspired to return to their respective organizations and explore more ways to assist our young people. Youth of the Nation: CLE was a success.
