Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.) is proud to be the home of Northeastern Ohio's
widely acclaimed Youth Career Olympics!

Produced, orchestrated and directed by Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Youth Career Olympics is a marquee, community-interactive event where students are given the opportunity to compete in professional events involving employment skills learned while enrolled in Y.O.U. programs.

In addition to trophies, the top individual winners receive prizes - and sometimes a job or internship. Some winning teams even go on to compete at a statewide level.

Students Rewarded for Participation

About 150 students from high schools in Cleveland, East Cleveland, and Euclid will compete. Besides prizes for all who compete, first prize winners will receive a trophy and $100 gift card to use toward post secondary options or work-related expenses, plus there will be a $1,000 grand prize winner.

Youth Career Olympics is a Business-Related Program

The program also is a means of reaching out to the business community to forge a link between business and the needs of our young people. The Youth Career Olympics encourages personal interaction between the youth and the adult role models. At the luncheon, community VIPs and business leaders will meet and network with the students who participated.
