How to Set Up a Rain Barrel

Summer is here and it’s time for yard work.

The participants of the Mayor Frank Jackson Summer Youth Employment Program 2021 created this informative video last year to teach you how to set up your own rain barrel.

They teach you how to hook up your rain barrel to the spigot and successfully capture water in your own back yard.

In an effort to reduce stormwater runoff, help residents save money, and engage Cleveland youth, the Summer Rain Barrel Program provides City of Cleveland residents with rain barrel systems free of charge.
