AFTER SCHOOL
Urban Youth Works
A partnership with Towards Employment, this is an after-school program targeting youth of incarcerated parents/guardians or youth who are currently or previously involved with the court system. The program is being piloted at Shaw HS and focuses on all aspects of retail and starting a business. Youth participate 2 days a week for National Retail Training where they can receive certification upon successfully passing a test. During the summer, youth participate in a 6-week experience learning how to start and run a T-shirt business while receiving a paid work experience.

McDonald Mentoring Program
A partnership with E-City, the program provides college access information and support, job readiness training, and basic entrepreneurial skills training, and mentoring. This program is offered at Glenville and Lincoln-West HS in Cleveland and Shaw HS in East Cleveland.
