Some of Cleveland’s finest youth participated this year in the Mayor Frank G. Jackson Summer Youth Employment Program. “Keeping It Green” is a collaboration of teens working in multiple city departments. Shot by Kayshawn Pillar of Cleveland School of Arts and Thomas Stumpf, and directed by Leanne Jones, William Porch, and Brandon Wade, the video focuses on sustainable lifestyles and creating habits the teens can pass on to their peers.
The youth communication videography team also created a video about a superhero who helps clean up the City of Cleveland. As the youth follow in her footsteps, they learn more about being environmentally friendly and how to lead sustainable lifestyles. The Land Protector is in all of us, and the youth made it their duty to provide insight on how to make the city a better place.
